The Brief
Brood at Borough Market needed new LED acrylic-style “neon” letters to refresh their signage in time for their reopening. The unit sits within a railway arch with a striking blue arched frontage, so the lettering needed to stand out against a bold colour and be visible to the crowds moving through the market.
What We Delivered
- Illuminated LED acrylic letters spelling out “BROOD” across the arched fascia, sized to fill the space confidently.
- A second, smaller set of letters on the shutter box at street level, so the name is visible whether the shutters are up or down.
- Supply and installation well ahead of the reopening date, giving the team time to get everything else ready.
The Result
The crisp white letters pop against the deep blue frontage and give Brood a lively, welcoming look. LED “neon” gives the classic glow of traditional neon with lower running costs and a longer life, making it a practical choice for a busy food business that wants to be seen.
